What is HOW TO SUCCEED… about?
HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS (WITHOUT REALLY TRYING) is a classic Broadway musical comedy about a wily window washer, J. Pierrepont Finch, who, with the aid of a trusty self-help book How to Succeed in Business, enjoys a riotous rise up the corporate ladder.
Music sensation and Broadway alum, NICK JONAS (Les Misérables, Beauty and the Beast, Annie Get Your Gun) and Emmy® Award winner BEAU BRIDGES (Brothers and Sisters, The Fabulous Baker Boys) are now starring in the blockbuster musical comedy featuring a beloved score packed with such hit standards as “I Believe in You,” “Happy to Keep His Dinner Warm,” “The Company Way,” “Been a Long Day,” “Rosemary” and “Brotherhood of Man.” It is directed and choreographed by Tony® and Emmy® Award-winner ROB ASHFORD.
The music and lyrics are by Academy Award and Tony Award® winner Frank Loesser; the book is by Abe Burrows, Jack Weinstock and Willie Gilbert and it is based on the book by Shepherd Mead.

When did it play on Broadway before? Has it won any awards?
The original production of HOW TO SUCCEED… opened on Broadway in 1961 and ran for 1,417 performances before closing in 1965. It won seven Tony Awards®, including Best Musical. It also received the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1962.
The first revival in 1995 received four Tony® nominations, and Matthew Broderick won the Tony Award® for Best Actor in a Musical.
John Larrouquette received a 2011 Tony Award® for his portrayal of J.B. Biggley.

Are there rush tickets?
A limited number of $30 general rush tickets are available to each performance. They are available at the box office beginning at 10am on the day of the performance only; there is a limit of two tickets per person.

Will the stars definitely be on stage at the performance I attend?
The principal cast members are scheduled to appear in all posted performances, unless otherwise noted on the website or on Telecharge. Any last-minute substitutions are made just prior to the performance and will be posted at the theatre.

Important Notice:
Broadway is currently closed to vehicular traffic from 42nd St to 47th St. Please review traffic and transportation details here. (PDF 116.2KB) and allow extra time to arrive at the theatre.
Most of the theatres are on the right side streets between 8th Avenue and Broadway from 44th to 53rd Streets. There are parking garages along the way. Please be aware, directions are subject to change due to detours, road/track work, etc.

C, E—To 48th Street, walk South to 45th Street.
N, R, W—To 49th Street, walk South to 45th Street.
Q—To 42nd Street, walk North to 45th Street.
B, D, F—To 47th-48th Street (at 6th Ave), walk West, and then South to 45th Street.
1—To 49th Street, walk South to 45th Street.
2, 3—To 42nd Street/Times Square and walk North to 45th Street.
4, 5, 6—To 42nd Street, transfer to shuttle to Times Square and walk North.
7—To Times Square and walk North to 45th Street. -
Where do I park the car?
There are many parking lots in the neighborhood, but remember that curtain times create added traffic.

Do I have to climb stairs to see HOW TO SUCCEED…?
The theatre is not completely wheelchair accessible. Please be advised that where there are steps either into or within the theatre we are unable to provide assistance.
There are no steps into the theatre from the sidewalk.
Seating is accessible to all parts of the Orchestra without steps. There are no steps to the designated wheelchair seating locations. Wheelchair seating is in the Orchestra only.
The Mezzanine is located on the second level, up 20 steps from the Orchestra. There are an additional seven steps up from the Mezzanine lobby to the Mezzanine entrance (located behind row D), and an additional 28 steps up to the remainder of the Mezzanine.
Please Note: On the Mezzanine level, there are approximately two steps up/down per row.
Please be advised that where there are steps within the theatre, we are unable to provide assistance.
There is a wheelchair accessible unisex restroom located on the main level. The women’s restroom (not wheelchair accessible) is located on the lower level, down 18 steps from the Orchestra. The men’s restroom (not wheelchair accessible) is located in the Mezzanine, up 20 steps from the Orchestra.
